electrogroup: Industry-specialised group training opportunities

27-May-2014

electrogroup is a group training organisation that specialises in offering apprenticeship and employment opportunities within the electrotechnology industry.

Since the company launched in 1994, electrogroup has been helping apprentices and host employers fill staffing requirements across NSW and the ACT. At present, approximately 300 apprentices and trainees are placed with 75 host employers across NSW and the ACT.

"The skills shortage in Australia is talked about across the nation but the only way to address this problem is by employing more electrical apprentices. electrogroup meets this challenge by providing employers top quality, job ready apprentices without the hassles," Bob Carcary, Chief Executive Officer  at electrogroup explained.

electrogroup offers a fully outsourced apprentice management program for employers, covering the complete apprenticeship process - from recruitment and induction to mentoring and retention. Additionally, this program can be branded to the company's own identity, to ensure all employer needs and requirements are catered for.

electrogroup is dedicated to identifying and securing top-quality talent as part of its Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) offering. This service allows host employers to expand and contract their business staffing without over committing their resources or having to terminate an apprenticeship.

Furthermore, electrogroup's RPO can help minimise employers' hiring costs due to dramatically reducing the administrative burden of recruitment. This includes an integrated payroll function to help boost efficiency and business control.
Apprentices working with electrogroup can benefit from the flexibility of working across a range of industry sectors while completing their apprenticeship.

electrogroup apprentices receive the best training available and are monitored and mentored by qualified, experienced and highly specialised Field Officers. These Field Officers also offer guidance and support to job seekers and employers.

Focused exclusively on the electrotechnology industry, electrogroup can ensure all assistance is tailored to meet industry needs. Due to its highly specialised offering, electrogroup can boast a completion rate of over 80 per cent, with apprentices moving on to gainful employment in this critical industry.
