Smart Employment Solutions: Quality group training solutions

19-May-2014

With 28 years' experience supporting apprenticeships in Australia, Smart Employment Solutions is a dedicated and proven group training and employment solutions specialist.

The company launched in 1986 under the name Group Training Australia Gold Coast, before becoming Smart Employment Solutions in 2003. Since opening they have placed more than 15,000 apprentices and trainees in key industries across south-east Queensland, such as construction, hospitality, engineering, finance and office administration. Of these apprentices and trainees, an impressive 98 per cent have continued on to full-time employment.

Smart Employment Solutions has had a number of award winning apprentices and trainees including the Master Builders Australian Apprentice of the Year in 2005 and has also been awarded the Gold Coast Master Builders award for Apprentice Employer of the Year a massive six times.

For individuals seeking a pathway to employment Smart Employment Solutions offers a range of apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities, including school-based apprenticeships. Employers who are considering taking on their own apprentice but are overwhelmed with the administrative burden can benefit from Smart Employment Solutions hassle free apprentice management service.

Employers can also access Smarter Business Services for a range of support and consultancy services to help protect and grow their business.

Smart Employment Solutions takes pride in being an organisation that cares, embodying the wisdom of American scientist Peter Senge, who said: "All human beings are born with unique gifts. The healthy functioning of our community depends on its capacity to develop each gift."

An example of this duty of care includes the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Smart Employment  Solutions and the Eastern Food Alliance (EFA) regarding traineeships for disadvantaged job seekers and school-based trainees.

EFA is a not-for-profit organisation established to provide healthy food to Australian families who may not otherwise have access to fresh food and vegetables. Smart Employment Solutions trainees help EFA redistribute food through the SecondBite Community Connect program which facilitated the redistribution of more than 1.1 million kilograms of surplus fresh food to 192 recipient community groups during the last financial year.
