About GTA WA

Group Training Australia (WA) is the peak body representing member group training organisations in Western Australia. GTA (WA) was incorporated in 1993 as a not for profit Association.

Group training is the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in Western Australia with nearly 5000 apprentices and trainees servicing as many as 30,000 host employer businesses across the state.

GTA(WA) members are located throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia and they deliver services to a range of industries. To see a full list of members in WA click here.

Our membership handbook is updated regularly and provides more detailed information about the range of opportunities on offer and requirements to apply. You can download the handbook here.

To operate in Western Australia, group training organisations must be registered with the WA Department of Education and Training. General information, including requirements for registration is available on their website.

The Association receives many enquiries from potential apprentices and trainees and their family members. We can recommend a number of good website for more information on apprenticeships and traineeships.
